Primary School Students

  • How do I order more yearbooks for my child’s class?

    Contact your child’s school’s yearbook adviser or staff. There are often a few extra copies available after yearbook distribution time. The yearbook staff can tell you if there are more copies available or add your child’s name to a standby list in the event some reserved yearbooks are not picked up.

  • The online order date for the school’s yearbook has passed. Can I still order a yearbook for them?

    Contact your child’s school’s yearbook adviser or staff. There are often a few extra copies available after yearbook distribution time. High School Students

  • What do I do if my child lost their high school class ring?

    A Balfour high school ring is so precious that it is automatically protected against loss or theft. If a high school ring is lost or stolen, Balfour will replace the ring. This protection is in effect for four years from the date of purchase on all original rings purchased after July 1, 1998, and is limited to a single replacement of your child’s original high school ring during the four-year period. This protection plan excludes diamonds, genuine stones and championship rings.

  • How do I check the status on the delivery of my child’s ring?

College Students

  • Can we trade in a high school ring for a college ring?

    In most cases, we will accept a trade-in on a Balfour college ring or gold Balfour high school ring. We also accept trade-ins on other manufacturers’ rings. Other manufacturers’ rings must be gold (non precious metals are not accepted) and have a 10K, 14K or 18K stamp inside the ring. Balfour will determine the trade-in value once the ring is received. A credit for an eligible trade-in ring will be granted if the trade-in accompanies the order to which the credit will apply. Therefore, trade-in credits are not available with online orders.

  • What is a Personalized College Announcement?

    A personalized college announcement is the traditional way to announce your college graduate’s achievement to your family and friends. Announcements include their name, degree, major, and the date, time and place of commencement. All of this is incorporated into the text the college has chosen to announce the commencement.

  • Will the announcements come with envelopes?

    Yes, all announcements come with matching inner and outer envelopes.

  • What is the actual size of the announcement?

    Flat, the announcement will be 8 1/2″ x 11 7/8″. Folded, it will be 4 1/4″ x 5 7/8″

  • Can we pay extra to have an order processed faster?

    It will take approximately 10 business days plus shipping time to process an order from the date it is placed. You can have the order shipped overnight instead of the standard ground method. This could save you up to 5 days depending on the state we will be shipping your order to.

  • Can my child choose how their announcement will read?

    He or she may change the name, degree information or, if there are multiple ceremonies, they may choose the one in which they will be participating. The balance of the text is determined by the university and cannot be changed.

  • What text is printed on the Certificate of Appreciation?

  • How to Find a Balfour Military Ring Retailer?

    Balfour Military operates with the highest levels of integrity and ethics. In turn, we demand the same from our retailers. You can be guaranteed that when you work with any of our retailers, you are working alongside the best. Our partners are committed to making sure that every piece of jewelry is ordered exactly to your child’s specifications and will be delivered within the order timeframe they have given you.

  • What is Balfour’s Ring Warranty?

    We took every effort to ensure that only the finest craftsmanship and quality went into your child’s ring. It underwent scores of precise, individual inspections throughout the entire finishing process. Balfour Military, therefore, guarantees your child’s ring to be free from defects in workmanship or materials, and any such defects discovered upon delivery will be remedied at no charge.

  • Where do I send in a ring for repairs?

    Please send the ring to the address below. Include your child’s name, or original order number (if available), instructions as to the type of repair you want done, a return address and a daytime phone number so we can contact you to approve any charges. We recommend that you send the ring using a traceable method like USPS, UPS or FedEx.

    Many times, repairs can be done on a ring; however, some requests may require that your child’s ring be remade. If your child’s ring is very sentimental to you and you do not want it remade, an explicit note directing that the ring not be remade must be included with the ring. A remake fee will apply to any order that must be remade. To learn more about these fees please call 1-800-521-9493.

  • How long will it take to receive my order?

    Custom military rings require 4 to 5 weeks for delivery.

Athletes

  • Can I buy a duplicate of some of the college and professional rings?

    No. These are exclusive designs and trademarks are owned by the individual schools, conference or professional teams and leagues. These cannot be duplicated.

  • Can my son buy a Championship Ring online?

    No. Balfour’s Championship Rings are customized for their school. The complexity of the design, tooling, and trademark process prohibits the rings from being available online.
