Greetings from Mayflower Hill,
Congratulations! You have reached, or are about to reach, an
important milestone in your academic career - the privilege of
participating in a Colby tradition by wearing the Colby Ring. Students
become eligible after they have successfully completed at least a year
and a half at Colby. You have worked hard to get to this point, and you
should be proud of your accomplishment.
The Colby Ring is the tangible symbol of your bond with the College,
and with the almost two centuries of graduates who have preceded you
in the Colby experience. The ring is a symbol that works equally well
during your time on Mayflower Hill, and in the years after, as a proud
statement of your affiliation with the tradition, values, and
achievement that are Colby.
By ordering now, you will be invited to participate in Colby’s Spring
2013 Ring Ceremony. I encourage you to participate and have the ring
